DirectConnectGroup wins Silver in
Sappi North American Printer of the Year Award
Cleveland, Ohio, June 1, 2005 — Cleveland-based DirectConnectGroup has been named a Sappi Fine Paper North American Printer of the Year. In all of North America, only 47 entries representing eight categories were chosen out of approximately 2,100 submitted.
DirectConnectGroup's printing of the Peterbilt Motors Company 2005 Wall Calendar received a Silver award in the Calendars category, in recognition of the superior print quality. Although dozens of other Northeast Ohio companies submitted entries for the Sappi award, DirectConnectGroup was the only local company to be honored.

High quality reproduction of the calendar is critical. Each year the calendar is highly sought after by Peterbilt customers. Peterbilt's tagline, "Class Pays," is further supported by the quality of the piece. Each month features a photograph of one of Peterbilt's trucks, each with glamorously dressed models beside them.
The calendar was printed on Sappi 100 lb. Strobe Silk. The Sappi Award recognized the impeccable print quality of the calendar. It was printed on DirectConnectGroup's six-color Komori press.
